Asuka Mew and Anna Miller-Yeaman are makers of tableware, vases and planters. They use clay and timber to create their designs.

Wingnut & Co are committed to sustainable practice. They blend and recycle commercially available Australian clay and also source and process hand dug clay from areas in country Victoria. Timber elements are off-cuts donated form local timber studios. Any timber waste from their workshop is burnt down and the ash is used in their glaze recipes. They also experiment with new materials that have a sustainable life-cycle.

The Wingnut & Co. label celebrates modest design where natural materials are highlighted with simple patterns and textures. Asuka is the primary craftsperson and the wheel-based potter for Wingnut & Co. Asuka was raised in Northern Kyushu, Japan and is influenced by historical pottery studios in this area.
