The bread bag is the perfect storage of bread for the staunchest sourdough bread maker. When you put the sourdough bread in a plastic bag the bread crust becomes soft and doughy. In the bread bag, it keeps its crunchy crust. The bag is beautiful both for serving and storage. It´s made in unwashed linen, at its first wash it will gain its lovely coarse washed linen feeling. The bag is sewn to after wash fit half a normal large levain, it shrinks about 5-10%. Ribbon is made of eco-cotton.

The core of Iris Hantverk is the brush binding manufacturing at Sandsborgsvägen, Enskede – here 6 visually impaired craftsmen from different cultures make brushes according to an old Swedish tradition. They also work with visually impaired craftsmen in Estonia. Like Sweden, Estonia also have a history strongly connected to the visual impairments rights movement.

Iris Hantverk is owned by two individuals who care much for the craftsmen and the survival of the brush binding manufactory. They believe that many like them appreciate the feeling and quality of a hand drawn brush made of natural materials. Their vision is to revive the traditional brush binding profession. By making functional products with good design combined with the quality of natural materials and the craftsmen's solid technique.
