In issue No.5 we join James Lowe, head chef and owner of Lyle‰۪s London, and visit farmer Tom Jones, one part of James‰۪ community of growers, farmers and catchers. Joel from Eatwith, tell us their story and we meet three of the home chefs from around the world. HK Farm show us the difference they are making to the lives of the local people in Hong Kong, and we visit a modern-day cabin built by Pezo von Ellrichshausen in the Aragon countryside for the Solo Houses project. We talk to Bosco Lodi about the wonderful Tadao Ando designed Casa Wabi, an artist residence in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, that aims to give back to the local community. In the Marche countryside in Italy, we stay with Claudia and Carlo at Malatesta Maison de Charme, who offer a home away from home, with dinners, tours, workshops and art exhibitions, while Alexandre from 0fr Paris, opens up his country house in Lot, for artists, and brings art festivals to the small town of Montvalent. We Join Jared in Silver Lake, LA. for his many concerts, in his bohemian home, Casa Larisa. We finish with the architectural dream, Els Comellars, built by John Pawson and Claudio Silvestrin in Mallorca.
