  • A lovely whimsical wine bottle carafe. Also suitable for sake and other spirits, or water.
    Tobe ware ceramics started making its appearance when Kato Yasokichi, 9th lord of the Ozu Domain (1769-1787),
    started hiring potters from Hizen. In 1976 Tobe ware was officially designated by the government as a traditional crafts. The porcelain are characterized by a slightly thick, rugged base and fine brush strokes.
