Leah Jackson is an artist and designer working mostly with hand built and slip cast ceramics. She completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Hons) at the ANU School of Art in 2003. Leah has exhibited extensively in Victoria and as part of the 2009/10 exhibition committee for Ceramics Victoria she curated Oasis, Ceramic Victoria's contribution to the Herring Island Festival.

All Leah’s objects are handbuilt.

Functional objects: High fired porcelain, high fired stained porcelain clear glazed. Treat as glass, avoid extreme heat (oven) or cold (freezer). Not appropriate for drinking boiled water.

Non-functional objects: Low fired porcelain, avoid contact with water, dust lightly with soft brush regularly to clean.

Earthenware and terracotta: clear glazed inner, partially glazed exterior. Avoid immersing unglazed exterior surface in water for extended periods of time.
