Elnaz Nourizadeh was born in 1985 in Theran,Iran.
She started working with clay and learning pottery when she was 17 while studying. In 2006 Eli started her professional life as a potter in Tehran. She arrived in Melbourne in 2013 and has her own studio.
Clay is her preferred medium. It lets her create any shape, change it completely, add or remove to achieve her goal. Elnaz’s main line of work is pottery where she explore shapes and colours in glazes, but she also make sculptures with focus on lines and surfaces as main elements. She works predominantly with clay and glazes but she also includes wood or metal occasionally in some of her Art pieces.
