Janetta Kerr-Grant is a ceramic artist living in Melbourne, Australia.
Janetta makes both functional and non functional work where sculptural form melds with richly worked surfaces. She often works in series to fully explore a particular concept. Janetta creates ceramics that are tactile and she aims to instill an elemental simplicity.
After originally training as a painter, Janetta became a journalist, but as time went on found she really missed having an arts practice and decided to head back into the studio and focus on ceramics.
