  • This brass incense stand is made using traditional casting technique which has been passed down through generations for over 400 years in Takaoka, Japan. It is left uncoloured to enjoy change in colour of the metal over the years.

     

    Important Note: 

    This Japanese incense stand is made to hold solid incense. The round ball has two size holes enabling holding of different thickness of incense stick. 

    This stand will hold our following Shoyeido incenses:

    Kyojiman, Hoyei-koh, Matsunotomo, Nokiba, and Nankun (smaller hole)

    Kyogosai Horin assortment, Genroku, Horikawa, Shirakawa, Nio, Tenpyo, Muromachi (larger hole)

    Please note it will not hold the large meditation incenses Taikun-koh (Matsu and Take). They are best stuck directly into soft sand or ash in a bowl as per traditional temple incense.
