A tough, stable knife stand cast by a brass foundry in Japan with a long history.
It's a stable knife stand making the most of the weight of the brass material. The lid with knife slots is made of wood, so knives won't get nicked as placed in the slots. The lid is removable and can be cleaned easily. Both sides at the bottom have triangular openings, so wet knives dry up quickly. The bottom part is lined with silicone so that it won't damage the surface on which the knife stand is placed.
