Humphrey Law Fine Merino Wool Sock 86C

A fine, smooth fitting sock. Fine Merino Wool keeps feet warm and comfortable in a lightweight sock that will fit in any shoes. Extra nylon reinforcing will give longer wear. A Health Sock® with no tight elastic top. 

This style has a single layer ribbed top. Very similar style 83C has a soft 2 layer folded top. Not all colours available in both styles/sizes. Availability as per drop down menu.

Contents: 60% Fine Merino Wool, 38% Nylon, 2% Elastane.

Size: Small (Bone, Teal, Berry only), Medium and Large 

Length - measured from floor to top of sock when worn: Approx 18cm-22cm (ladies), 22-26cm (mens).

Washing instructions: Short warm wash on medium cycle. Wash with similar colours. May be tumble dried warm. Do not bleach.

In 1947 Sidney Humphrey and Albert Law formed a partnership to make socks in Australia. They built a factory on land that had been a lemon orchard in the bush at Heathmont about 20 miles out of Melbourne. That factory still exists, although it has been considerably extended, and while the original partners have died, sock making continues there under the management of Albert Law’s children Rob and Elizabeth.
