  • The Opinel Les Forgés 1890 Chef's Knife is a premium kitchen tool that embodies traditional craftsmanship. This knife is fully hot-forged from X50CrMoV15 stainless steel, ensuring that the blade sharpens effortlessly and maintains a keen edge. The full tang construction provides remarkable balance, making it ideal for slicing and dicing a variety of ingredients. The handle, crafted from heat-treated beech wood, offers enhanced water resistance for easy upkeep. With a bevel angle of 15° on each side and a Rockwell Hardness rating between 57 and 59 HRC, this knife is designed for precision and durability. It features a V-grip to assist in guiding the blade for accurate cuts, as well as an Ergo-Profile that helps to prevent hand clenching and minimise fatigue during use. The stabilised beech wood handle not only enhances comfort but also improves water resistance. Part of the esteemed Les Forgés 1890 collection, this knife reflects the excellence of French cutlery and draws inspiration from the artistry of two-Michelin-starred Savoyard chef Jean Sulpice.
