Marseille Olive Oil Soap Block

Mas du Roseau Raw Marseille Soap is a traditional olive oil soap block crafted in Provence using time-honoured methods. Made from 99% natural ingredients and hand cut into generous blocks, this authentic Savon de Marseille is valued for its purity, durability and versatility.

Solid, understated and quietly functional, it is suitable for hands, body and a variety of household uses. Its elegant olive green tone reflects its high olive oil content - a hallmark of genuine Marseille soap.

Produced using traditional Marseille methods, this raw soap is composed of:

• 2/3 olive oil
• 1/3 coconut oil
• Water, glycerine and soda

The formula is simple and minimally processed, resulting in a dense, long-lasting bar that performs beautifully without unnecessary additives.

Each block is:

• Hand cut
• Hand stamped (text clarity may vary)
• Naturally air dried

Because the bars are cut by hand, no two pieces are identical - a reflection of genuine craftsmanship.

Natural Bloom
It is completely normal for authentic Marseille soap to develop a fine white film on the surface over time. During traditional production, the soap is purified with salt. As the bar dries, trace mineral salts may rise to the surface and form a soft white bloom. This is not mould and does not affect quality. The film will disappear immediately once rinsed or lathered.

Storage
Allow soap to dry fully between uses on a draining dish to extend longevity.
