Japanese culture and aesthetics such as Shintoism, anthropomorphism and wabi sabi, are a major influence on my work. I like to embrace the tactile qualities of the materials and highlight errors and wonkiness.This process along with the help of humour, helps me to become more accepting of my own flaws.
