ABOUT MR KITLY STOCKROOM INSTALLATIONS
Mr Kitly curated installations provide the opportunity to show works by artists who have kindly supplied artworks to Mr Kitly and are available via the Mr Kitly stockroom. These Mr Kitly stockroom pieces are rather special one-offs and span art, sculpture, function and craft.
All stockroom pieces are for sale, please see link below or contact us for further information. Stockroom artists often also have production work available ongoing in the shop space as well, please enquire.
Valerie initially trained as a painter at the National Gallery School under John Brack. After a stint in London teaching and studying pottery, Valerie returned to Melbourne where she continues to practice and teach. She says of her work, “I am very influenced by the Bernard Leach school and Japanese aesthetics which have segues to Edmund de Waal and Minimalism.”
